Coveted looks

Every so often you see a look that makes you stop in your tracks and wonder who and how and why and when did this get put together?? And how can you achieve it?? That's how I felt when I saw these recently uploaded pics by Lauren Conrad.

Denim shirt+grey jumper+clutch+big gems= surely we can all look like this in the office!

I can totally imagine wearing this strolling along a pavement in Paris (naturally stripes mean Paris) in the mid afternoon sun, french bread stick in one hand, painting easel in the other looking for the perfect spot on top of a bridge to do a little arts and crafts.

Glittery clutch bags are nothing short of amazing. You can wear them day or night and this hot pink colour grabs all the attention towards this other wise mundane outfit.

The coral nails, the collar, the sheer cream, the soft grey woollen cardigan...i love it.

Shirts under jumpers under statement neclaces are simple yet powerfully effective. Geek chic at its hottest! And not a split end in sight, lucky girl.

This is probably the look we are all likely to have worn before or at least have the basic components in our wardrobes. Everyone needs a denim jacket, everyone has a colourful scarf that brings out their eyes and we all have a stripey top. Put it all together and it's instant cool. 

Leather and lace are a match made in heaven, especially for the Spring season. There's no excuse for not owning a leather jacket, it's essential for toughening up lace, sheer blouses and flowing dresses to stop you from looking like a damsel in distress. The blood red nails, shirt collar and simple rings just make this look for me.
